1. OPTION RESERVATION

1.1 An option for a live illustration performance will remain valid for a maximum of 2 weeks unless otherwise notified.

2. BOOKING PROCEDURE

2.1 Booking for live performances is based on an agreement, where the hourly rate is determined. The created illustrations are provided to the audience free of charge unless otherwise agreed.

2.2 Performances for a fixed number of hours, with the possibility of extending on-site depending on interest, can be arranged in consultation with the illustrator.

3. PROVISIONS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

3.1 The client is responsible for providing a stable chair and table at the location. This table must have sufficient space for the illustrator's materials and allow her to work efficiently. High tables without a chair, tables that do not accommodate leg space, trolleys, and beanbags do not support a proper working posture and are therefore unacceptable.

3.2 Performances indoors can take place under almost all conditions. However, the illustrator must not work in environments with excessive noise or smoky spaces. For evening or dimly lit events, sufficient lighting must be provided.

3.3 Outdoor performances must be agreed upon in advance or in consultation with the illustrator. Performances in excessive sunlight, rain, wind, or temperatures below 15°C (59°F) or above 35°C (95°F) are considered unacceptable working conditions.

4. COPYRIGHT

4.1 The copyright of the illustrations created during live performances remains with the illustrator.

4.2 Posting on social media for private use is permitted. For publications, reproduction, or commercial use, the illustrator's consent is required.

5. CANCELLATION

5.1 Cancellation by the client
If the booking is canceled, a cancellation fee will apply as follows:

Standard cancellation fee: 25% of the booking fee.
Within 60 days before the event date: 35% of the booking fee.
Within 30 days before the event date: 50% of the booking fee.
Within 14 days before the event date: 75% of the booking fee.
Within 48 hours before the event date: 100% of the booking fee.

5.2 For (international) bookings, any incurred costs for pre-booked flights, train tickets, hotels, or Airbnb reservations will also be charged.

6. Cancellation by the illustrator

6.1 The illustrator will only cancel a booking in cases of force majeure and will always strive to find a suitable replacement or solution.

6.2 The client cannot claim costs from the illustrator for canceling the booking, such as hotels, Airbnb reservations, or other expenses already made by the client. If the illustrator has booked a hotel or other accommodation herself, the costs will be borne by the illustrator.

1. OPTIE RESERVERING

1.1 Een optie voor een live-illustratie optreden blijft maximaal 2 weken geldig, tenzij anders aangegeven.

2. BOEKINGSPROCEDURE

2.1 Boeking voor live-optredens geschiedt op basis van een overeenkomst, waarbij de vergoeding per uur wordt bepaald. De vervaardigde illustraties worden kosteloos verstrekt aan het publiek, tenzij anders overeengekomen.

2.2 Voor een optreden van een vast aantal uren, met mogelijkheid tot uitbreiding ter plaatse bij voldoende belangstelling, kan in overleg met de illustrator.

3. VOORZIENINGEN EN WERKOMSTANDIGHEDEN

3.1 De opdrachtgever is verantwoordelijk voor het beschikbaar stellen van een stabiele stoel en tafel op locatie. Hierbij moet rekening worden gehouden met voldoende ruimte op de tafel, waarop de illustrator haar materialen kwijt kan en haar werkzaamheden kan uitvoeren. Statafels zonder stoel, tafels waar je je benen niet onder kwijt kan, trolley's en zitzakken bieden geen geschikte werkhouding en zijn daarom niet acceptabel.

3.2 Optredens binnen kunnen onder nagenoeg alle omstandigheden plaatsvinden. Echter dient de illustrator niet te werken in de nabijheid van overmatig geluid of in rokerige ruimten. Bij optredens in de avond of in donkere ruimtes, dient voldoende lichtvoorziening aanwezig te zijn.

3.3 Optredens buiten dienen vooraf of in overleg met de illustrator te worden overeengekomen. Optredens buiten in overmatig zonlicht, regen, wind, temperaturen onder de 15 graden of boven de 35 graden zijn onacceptabele werkomstandigheden.

4. AUTEURSRECHTEN

4.1 De auteursrechten van de tijdens live-optredens vervaardigde illustraties berust bij de illustrator.

4.2 Plaatsing op sociale media voor privégebruik is toegestaan. Voor publicaties, vermenigvuldiging, of commercieel gebruik is toestemming van de live-illustrator vereist.

5. ANNULERING DOOR OPDRACHTGEVER

5.1 Wanneer de boeking wordt geannuleerd, wordt een annuleringsvergoeding in rekening gebracht. Deze zijn als volgt:

Standaard annuleringskosten: 25% van de boekingsgage.
Binnen 60 dagen voor de datum van het evenement: 35% van de boekingsgage.
Binnen 30 dagen voor de datum van het evenement: 50% van de boekingsgage.
Binnen 14 dagen voor de datum van het evenement: 75% van de boekingsgage.
Binnen 48 uur voor de datum van het evenement: 100% van de boekingsgage.

5.2 Bij (internationale) boekingen worden ook de gemaakte kosten van reeds geboekte vliegtickets, treinkaartjes, hotels of AirBnB-reserveringen in rekening gebracht.

6. ANNULERING DOOR DE ILLUSTRATOR

6.1 De illustrator zal een boeking uitsluitend annuleren in het geval van overmacht en zal zich altijd inspannen om een geschikte vervanging of oplossing te regelen.

6.2 De opdrachtgever kan geen kosten verhalen op de illustrator voor het annuleren van de boeking, zoals reeds door de opdrachtgever geboekte hotels, AirBnB-reserveringen of andere gemaakte kosten. Indien de illustrator zelf een hotel of andere accommodatie heeft geboekt, zijn de kosten hiervan voor eigen rekening van de illustrator.
